I was born and raised in God's Country (Indiana- GO HOOSIERS!!)! I was priviledged to be raised in a Christian family, where both of my parents knew and loved the Lord. I accepted the Lord at 5 years of age after a 5-day Cub meeting at my house. My Mom shared the Gospel with me, and I realized my need for a Saviour. Since I was the 2nd of 4 kids, and my Dad is a Police Officer, I tried to stay out of trouble. My brother would agree that when your Dad carries a gun you tend to follow the rules. As I went thru school my desire to accel at sports was greater than my love for the Lord. It wasn't until I had graduated from High school, and was working as a camp counselor that I realized the importance of "living" for Christ not just "knowing" him. It was there that I knew that my life needed to go in a different direction. My parents sent me to the WOL Bible Institute for one year, and that totally changed my life. I postponed my desire to play collegiate sports, and joined the WOL Collegians. As I traveled with the Collegians I began to understand what a life of ministry was all about. Little did I know that the Lord would be preparing me for a life of music ministry, a life lived for Him and not for myself. It was on Collegians where I met the most beautiful girl I had ever seen! That was almost 10 years ago, and the Lord has continued to show me his direction for my life. After 2nd year, Impact, and a year of leading Impact, Jeanine and I were finally married! We have been working with the Impact Team since 2002, and now have 2 little guys of our own. This is our 10th year here on the Island, and it has been a pleasure to watch God work in the lives of the many young people who have been here at camp.
